Plan your family’s Christmas story on one page

A date in the diary, a thought over supper and a note about when the presents might appear can end up in three different places. Bring them together on the one-page planner. It remains useful whether or not you ever use an app.

Every prompt is optional. These are family planning ideas, not confirmed fields in Before the Magic. The personalised family app is not publicly available. The fictional preview needs no family details and cannot test a journey for your household.

Choose a name and a tone

Give your plan a working name, perhaps “Christmas at home”. Decide whether a storyteller belongs in your family’s version. It might be Father Christmas, Baby Jesus, another figure familiar to you, or nobody. The worksheet does not prescribe a tradition. Note the feeling you want as well: a calm wait, a playful clue or a quiet shared moment.

Write the place and date as you mean them

Record the celebration place and local date, such as “at home, 25 December”. If you will visit another household, name it without adding a full address to a sheet that might be shared. Write when the presents will appear in ordinary words: after breakfast, after supper, the following morning or another moment that suits you. You can leave the time flexible.

This is a plan for your family. We have not verified the questions or timing controls of a future app form.

Add one line of your own

Write a sentence you might say aloud. A small clue about a family ritual can be enough. Avoid private details on a copy that could be printed or left in view. A fictional example, Moonlight House, places Father Christmas in the living room on 25 December, with presents after breakfast when everyone is ready. Its message reads: “Meet beside the tree when everyone is ready.” The example is not a product field or a delivery promise.

Let an adult check it

Before the celebration, ask one adult to check the place, date, present moment and story voice against the real plan. Cross out anything that changes; leave irrelevant prompts blank.
